Flexibilní sedací systémy pro MPV, bez ohledu na jejich velikost, mají byla konkurenceschopnost mezi největší hráčů Evropami. Obývací koncept umožňuje jednu nebo obě z dvou vnější sedadla v prostřední řadě snímků zpět navíc pět palců – současně snižuje sedadel pro jeho opěradlo do formuláře, který pár rukou spočívá. Navíc, hlavy může být zapnuto, z vertikální do horizontální vytváří vzhled křídla couval židle. Pod nohou podporuje je uvedeno v konceptu vozu musí být ještě potvrzena pro výrobu, i když Adams udělal dodat, že úhel sedadla zády by se hrabal zpátky od 23 až 33 a 38° pro další pohodlí. Flexible seating systems for MPVs, irrespective of their size, have been become increasingly competitive amongst Europes biggest players. It all started when GM launched the original Zafira in 1999 with its Flex7 seating system that flipped and folded into the floor doing away with the effort of trying to lug heavy seats in and out of the car and then storing them somewhere – like the garage where they inevitably stayed. With its Zafira Tourer Concept seen at the Geneva Auto Show, which previews the all-new Zafira that will be launched in Frankfurt later this year, GMs European design team headed by Brit, Mark Adams has just upped the ante. The Lounge concept allows either, or both, of the two outer seats in the middle row to slide back an extra five inches – simultaneously the center seat is lowered for its backrest to form a pair of arm rests. Additionally, the headrests can be turned from vertical to horizontal creating the appearance of a wing backed chair. The under leg supports shown in the concept car have yet to be confirmed for production, although Adams did add that the angle of the seat backs could be raked back from 23 to between 33 and 38° for additional comfort. Furthermore theres also a pair of kiddie sized seats in the back for when needed.
