Disgwylir fforddydd E11 newydd yn 2016; yn defnyddio pŵer Ford ac yn wahanol iawn i gar chwaraeon E10. Bydd y ffordd zenos E11 newydd yn cynnig perfformiad pur ac amrwd, a bydd yn brofiad gwahanol iawn i gar chwaraeon E10 pan fydd yn lansio yn 2016, mae cyd-sylfaenydd Zenos Cars, Ansar Ali, wedi cadarnhau. Wrth siarad ag Autocar ym mhencadlys Hethel y cwmni, dywedodd cyn-bennaeth Caterham Cars y byddai'r E11 yn cael ei brisio uwchlaw'r 24,995 E10, a byddai'n cael ei bweru gan injan Ford sydd heb ei nodi eto. Bydd yr uned yn cydymffurfio ag allyriadau Ewro 6, a bydd yn debygol o fod yn gysylltiedig â'r un opsiynau trosglwyddo â llaw pump a chwe chyflymder a gynigir yn yr E10. Wedi'i bweru gan 197bhp 2. 0 litr Ford Duratec injan, disgrifir y 650kg E10 fel car chwaraeon cyfreithiol sy'n canolbwyntio ar draciau. Wedi'i ddatgelu yn sioe Autosport International ddechrau'r mis diwethaf, mae wedi'i ddatblygu fel cystadleuaeth i geir chwaraeon ysgafn presennol fel y Caterham Saith, KTM X-Bow ac Ariel Atom. Dywed Ali y bydd yr E11 yn fwy seiliedig ar ffyrdd na'r E10. Bydd y model newydd yn defnyddio platfform ysgafn yr E10, sy'n cyfuno un allwthiad alwminiwm a thwb canolog wedi'i wneud o garbon wedi'i ailgylchu. Bydd yr E11 yn ei dro yn cael ei ddilyn yn 2018 gan gwbwl E12. Bydd yr E11 ac E12 yn agor drysau newydd i'r cwmni yn Ewrop, diolch i gael eu cymeradwyo ar gyfer cynhyrchu cyfresi bach Ewropeaidd. Mae gan yr E10 Gymeradwyaeth Cerbydau Unigol, sy'n golygu mai dim ond mewn detholiad o wledydd Ewropeaidd y tu allan i'r DU y gellir ei werthu. Dywed Ali y bydd yr E10 yn cynnig hwyl hygyrch ac ymgysylltiad gwirioneddol i'w berchnogion. Ar adeg ysgrifennu'r adroddiad, mae 23 o adneuon wedi'u cymryd ar gyfer y car. Car gyrwyr yw hwn, meddai Ali. Fe wnaethom ddylunio E10 o sedd y gyrwyr tuag allan. Mae hynny'n amlygu ei hun ym mhopeth, o'r safle gyrru i'r gwelededd i'r trefniant pedal. Y gyrrwr yw ein prif ffocws. Y peth pwysig yma yw bod gennym bortffolio o dri char, felly nid yw'r cyllid i gyd yn mynd i un car, mae'n mynd i dri. Mae Ali a'i gyd-sylfaenydd Zenos, Mark Edwards, yn hyderus bod tag pris 24,995 yr E10 yn ddigon isel i lusgo perchnogion posibl i frand Zenos. Pennwyd y pris yn glir, meddai Ali. Edrychasom ar y farchnad ac ar y cwsmeriaid, gofynnwyd beth fyddai pobl yn fodlon ei dalu am y profiad yr oeddent am ei gael, a rhoddasom rifau iddo. Mae datblygu'r E10 bellach yn dechrau ar ei gamau terfynol, gyda'r ffocws yn awr ar berfformiad a gwydnwch. Dywedodd Ali y bydd rhai perchnogion sydd eisoes wedi gosod blaendaliadau ar gyfer yr E10 yn cael eu gwahodd i gymryd rhan yn ei ddatblygiad terfynol cyn i'r dosbarthiadau cyntaf gael eu dosbarthu ddechrau'r flwyddyn nesaf. New E11 roadster due in 2016; will use Ford power and be very different to E10 sports car. The new Zenos E11 roadster will offer pure and raw performance, and will be a very different experience to the E10 sports car when it launches in 2016, Zenos Cars co-founder Ansar Ali has confirmed. Speaking to Autocar at the firm's Hethel headquarters, the former Caterham Cars boss said the E11 would be priced above the 24,995 E10, and would be powered by an as-yet unspecified Ford engine. The unit will be Euro 6 emissions compliant, and will likely be linked to the same five and six-speed manual transmission options offered in the E10. Powered by a 197bhp 2. 0-litre Ford Duratec engine, the 650kg E10 is described as a track-focused, road-legal sports car. Revealed at the Autosport International show early last month, it's been developed as a rival to existing lightweight sports cars such as the Caterham Seven, KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom. Ali says the E11 will be more road based than the E10. The new model will make use of the E10's lightweight platform, which combines a single aluminium extrusion and a central tub made from recycled carbon. The E11 will in turn be followed in 2018 by an E12 coupe. Both the E11 and E12 will open new doors for the company in Europe, thanks to being type-approved for European small series production. The E10 has Individual Vehicle Approval, meaning it can only be sold in a selection of European countries outside the UK. Ali says the E10 will offer accessible fun and real driver engagement for its owners. At the time of writing, 23 deposits have been taken for the car. This is a drivers car, says Ali. We designed E10 from the drivers seat outwards. That manifests itself in everything, from the driving position to the visibility to the pedal arrangement. The driver is our primary focus. The important thing here is that we have a portfolio of three cars, so the funding isnt all going into one car, its going into three. Both Ali and his Zenos co-founder Mark Edwards are confident the 24,995 price tag of the E10 is low enough to lure potential owners to the Zenos brand. The price was set clearly, says Ali. We looked at the market and at the customers, we asked what people would be willing to pay for the experience they wanted, and we put numbers to it. Development of the E10 is now entering its final stages, with the focus now on performance and durability. Ali said that some owners whove already placed deposits for the E10 will be invited to take part in its final development ahead of the first deliveries taking place early next year.
