Citroën offre un regard peine voilé à la prochaine génération C4 Picasso avec un nouveau concept-car pour le salon automobile de Genève. Appelé Technospace, le nouveau concept de voiture directement présente en avant-première la nouvelle C4 Picasso qui sera dévoilé en avril devant un lancement au Royaume-Uni en mai. Le modèle sera la première à être restructurée Citroens nouvelle plateforme modulaire efficace 2 (EMP2). Grâce à un poids plus léger de la plate-forme, le nouveau C4 Picasso pèse environ 70 kg de moins que le modèle actuel. Et ce poids plus léger, en combinaison avec des moteurs plus efficaces, permettra pour les émissions de CO2 de seulement 98g/km sous sa forme plus frugal. Le concept de Technospace est 4430mm longue, 1830mm large et 1610mm élevé, avec un empattement de 2783mm. C'est pourquoi il 40 mm plus court que l'actuelle C4 Picasso, mais avec un empattement plus long que la voiture actuelle de 55 mm, espace cabine sera améliorée. Capacité de démarrage est censée être lass menant, à 537 litres. La silhouette fondamentale du C4 Picasso est reconnaissable à l'avant, quoique avec modifié proportions en raison de nouvelles dimensions. Les porte-à-faux est réduits pour un look plus compact, et devrait bénéficier d'une visibilité excellente de la scission montants. Les phares de split à l’avant sont l’une des caractéristiques de conception plus frappantes. Citroens nouvelle arrière 3D-effet s’allume aussi caractéristique. A l’intérieur, le concept devient la première application du nouveau système d’infodivertissement modulaire Citroens, qui comprend un grand écran tactile de 12 pouces pour contrôler la plupart des commandes intérieures. Called Technospace, the new concept car directly previews the new C4 Picasso that will be unveiled in April ahead of a UK launch in May. The model will be the first to be spun off Citroens new Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2). Thanks to the lighter weight of the platform, the new C4 Picasso will weigh around 70kg less than the current model. And this lighter weight, in combination with more efficient engines, will allow for CO2 emissions of just 98g/km in its most frugal guise. The Technospace concept is 4430mm long, 1830mm wide and 1610mm high, with a wheelbase of 2783mm. That makes it 40mm shorter than the current C4 Picasso, but with a 55mm longer wheelbase than the current car, cabin space will be improved. Boot capacity is said to be lass leading, at 537 litres. The fundamental silhouette of the C4 Picasso is recognisable from before, albeit with altered proportions due to the new dimensions. The overhangs are reduced for a more compact look, and excellent visibility should be offered from the split A-pillars. The split headlights at the front are the one of the more striking design features. Citroens new 3D-effect rear lights also feature. Inside, the concept gets the first application of Citroens new modular infotainment system, which includes a large 12in touchscreen to control many of the interior commands.
