Nico Hûlkenberg: I like to approach the Sauber

For three years the primary F1 driver Nico Hulkenberg changed three teams: Williams, Force India and Sauber. On the eve of the first test C32 German racer told about the differences between teams and impressions of the new machine. . .
Question: What are your first impressions of the Sauber C32?
Niko Hulkenberg: Of course, the side pontoons and a new nose cone can not fail to attract attention. Everything else - proven solutions. The team decided to use the aggressive approach and challenge rivals. I like it.
Question: aren't You worried that such a bold decision nose fairing may be unsuccessful?
Niko Hulkenberg: I trust the engineers and I think they calculated everything. In modern Formula 1 success or failure depends not so much on details, but on the efficiency of the machine as a whole. Anyway, I react calmly to it.
Question: You've adapted to Sauber?
Niko HulkenbergFirst impressions are good. Winter break was pretty long, but the time passed quickly, I was able to find a common language with the team. The relations are excellent. I have already met with his race engineer. However, stressful situations on the road ahead, and only then will it be clear whether I feel at home here.
Question: What is the Sauber differs from the British teams that you played before?
Niko HulkenbergNow I don't have to fly to the UK. In addition, there are far more people speak German. Production processes in Sauber are distinctly different from those with which I have encountered in other teams. Finally, each team has their own ideas about technical briefings and work during the race weekend.
Question: Describe in a few words the teams that you played before. . .
Niko Hulkenberg: Staff Williams is British while sober. In Force India was felt more freedom. Sauber are all working consistently and clearly, but also focused on success.
Question: will Sauber again to win the sixth place in the Cup of designers?
Niko Hulkenberg I hope we will be able to pick up the fight one way or another top team and, as last year, to come to the podium. To be precise, this is just my dream and I don't want to build too bold predictions before the season starts. In order to maximize their potential, I need to feel comfortable in the car.
Question: how Much time you will need to adapt in the car?
Niko HulkenbergJust a few days. I have no special requirements to the car. However, I don't have enough experience Fernando Alonso: he so often was engaged in finishing machine that understands immediately what settings will allow you to gain speed.
I realized this last year when we were playing in Force India. I felt comfortable only in the second half of the season, when fully understood in the car and in the settings. After that did not require a lot of time to understand what needs to be done. I went on line and talked to the engineers: I need those or other settings.
