The B3 Bi-Turbo is based on the latest F10 generation of the BMW 3-series. Autocar understands the car will be offered initially as a saloon, with a Touring model following later. The B3 will be powered by a reworked version of BMW's 3. 0-litre straight six. Power is likely to be marginally increased over the current model to around 410bhp. Peak power is said to be available from 5500rpm to the cars 7000rpm redline. Torque of around 400lb ft will be available from 1300rpm. An eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox will be fitted.
