Italdesign Giugiaro tutvustada oma vintage riistvara selle aasta Techno Classica Essen, maailma suurim classic car show. Üksteist mudelid on ekraanil, paljud neist esindab näitab teema automotive vahe-eesmärgid. Italdesign Giugiaro is showcasing its vintage hardware at this years Techno Classica Essen, the worlds largest classic car show. Eleven models will be on display, with many of them representing the shows theme of automotive milestones. The truly bizarre Giugiaro Aztec, Aspid and Asgard, (three concept cars introduced in 1988 for the 20th anniversary of Italdesign Giugiaro) are sharing floor-space with eight production models and notable prototypes penned by the famous Italian design firm. These include a triumvirate of VW models, such as the first-generation Passat (1973), Golf (1974) and Scirocco (1974). A Seat Ibiza (1984) and Audi 80 (1978) seem more, shall we say, esoteric choices. But were not going to argue with the inclusion of the Lamborghini Gallardo (2002), or the still stunningly gorgeous Volkswagen W12 Nardò prototype (2001). But why no Fiat Panda? While far from traditionally beautiful, Giorgetto Giugiaro often refers to the boxy-looking and minimalist 1980 Panda as his personal favorite of his innumerable automotive designs.
