The engine range is likely to include a range topping twin-turbo 6. 0-litre V12 in the form of MLC65 AMG. A V6 hybrid is also expected, with a potential output of 400bhp - enough to rival the twin-turbocharged 4. 4-litre V8 BMW X6 50i. A seven-speed automatic is likely to be the only transmission option.
