Lexus er siste selskapet å avsløre tease bilder med et innblikk i en liten del av sin nyeste LF-Gh hybrid-konsept. Konseptet gjør sin verden debut på messen, og trolig være ganske nær hva neste generasjon Lexus GS vil se ut. Lexus sier LF-Gh, som står for Lexus fremtiden Grand Touring Hybrid: fastsetter omdefinere premie grand touring sedan. Gjennom denne øvelsen, definisjonen av L-Finesse, marques design filosofi siden 2001, har blitt raffinert og utviklet seg til å inkludere en dristigere, mer distinktiv projeksjon av hva en luksusbil kan bli i en moderne verden. Resultatet er LF-Gh konseptet, og formidler originale tanker og ideer som kan overføre til fremtidige Lexus biler på en global skala. Lexus, Toyotas luksusbiler divisjon har mistet bakken i de siste månedene med bare en veldig svak økning i omsetning sammenlignet med i fjor. Dette står i kontrast med dens hovedavdeling rivals, Audi, BMW, Infiniti og Mercedes-Benz, som har alle sett deres salgsvolum øke betydelig. Faktisk har hittil i år Mercedes-Benz outsold Lexus i U. Lexus is the latest company to reveal tease shots with a glimpse at a small part of its newest concept the LF-Gh hybrid concept. The concept will make its world debut at the show and is likely to be pretty close to what the next generation Lexus GS will look like. Lexus says the LF-Gh, which stands for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid: sets out to redefine the premium grand touring sedan. Through this exercise, the definition of L-Finesse, the marques design philosophy since 2001, has been refined and evolved to include a bolder, more distinct projection of what a luxury car could become in a modern world. The result is the LF-Gh concept, which conveys original thoughts and ideas that may migrate to future Lexus vehicles on a global scale. Lexus, Toyotas luxury car division has lost ground in the past few months with only a very slight increase in sales compared to last year. This contrasts with its main rivals, Audi, BMW, Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz, who have all seen their sales volumes increase significantly. Indeed, so far this year Mercedes-Benz has outsold Lexus in the U. S. giving the German marque the number one spot in luxury car sales, a coveted position held by Lexus for the past 11 years. The New York International Auto Show is open to the public from April 20 – May 1, 2011.
