By 2017, Chrysler will completely stop selling models under the same brand in the UK. As explained to journalists the Deputy Manager of Fiat Group UK Carl Hawkins, the reasons for this decision taken at the summit of Fiat Chrysler Group, was the decline in sales and the negative impact of the more stringent European environmental standards. England was the last Bastion of the Chrysler brand in the Old World; now out of production FCA Europeans will be available Fiat (plus Abarth), Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Dodge and Lancia, the latter will limit sales within Italy.
If continental Europe Chrysler gone back in 2011, on Misty Albion sales continued, being reduced every day: 2500 cars in 2013, the year 1900 in 2014. Tiny model range far did not contribute to the popularity of the brand: at the moment, it includes a full-size sedan, the 300 c limousine Grand Voyager and compact Ypsilon, srisovannyj with the Lancia. He remains the last of the Mohicans in England, and soon dealers move to stick the car supply under the order.
And what next? And then the time comes to multi-brand centers where under one roof will trade and budget Fiat and brutal Jeep, and elegant Alfa Romeo. The FCA believes this approach is most beneficial and strongly pushing dealers to combine their forces. The next area of attack — Jeep: in the next three years, the brand will give Europeans the whole three novelties.
