Robust version av fem-dörrars city car fortfarande osäkra för STORBRITANNIEN lanseringen. Detta är den nya Volkswagen Cross Up, en robust version av staden bil. Volkswagen sverige har ännu inte bestämt om att ta bilen, men chanserna är för närvarande rankad på 50/50. Cross Up skiljer sig från de vanliga fem-dörrars VW Upp med sin svarta kropp beklädnad för hjulhus och sidotrösklarna. Stötfångare och yttre spegel husen är målade också med en lätt metallisk silver finish. Modellen är utrustad med 16-tums lättmetallfälgar med en design som är bekant från VW andra Cross modeller och insvept i 185/50 avsnitt däck. Inuti, front-drive Cross får särskild klädsel för säten, särskilda mattor, en reviderad instrument panel och chrome omger för ventilation. Kraften kommer från en 74bhp tre-cylindrig motor kopplad till en femväxlad manuell växellåda, en kombination som är bekant från den standard Upp. VW : s inledande information om bilen inte hänvisa till om, eller inte traction control system är reviderade för att erbjuda något extra kontroll i låg-grepp villkor. This is the new Volkswagen Cross Up, a rugged version of the Up city car. Volkswagen UK has yet to decide whether to take the car, but its chances are currently rated at 50/50. The Cross Up is distinguished from the regular five-door VW Up by its black body cladding for the wheel arches and side sills. The bumpers and exterior mirror housings are also painted with a light metallic silver finish. The model is fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels with a design familiar from VWs other Cross models, and wrapped in 185/50 section tyres. Inside, the front-drive Cross Up gets special trim for the seats, special floor mats, a revised instrument panel and chrome surrounds for the air vents. Power comes from a 74bhp three-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, a combination familiar from the standard Up. VW's initial information on the car does not make reference as to whether or not the traction control system is revised to offer any extra control in low-grip conditions. The new model will be shown for the first time at the Geneva motor show.
