Chinese cars will be safer by introducing new standards of CHINA to conduct crash tests. Chinese authorities plan to improve in China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP), which will come into force in 2012 year. According to the official, the new standards are based on the standards of the "other markets"-specifically refers to the requirements of the Australian ANCAP and European Programme (Euro NCAP). In more simple terms, from July 2012 year crash tests in China will be held to more stringent regulation. For example, the frontal crash-test will run at a speed of 64 km/h (instead of 56 km/h, as previously), the test will take into account the protection of the driver's neck, the availability of support systems like ESP, and mannequins will be placed not only on the front and rear seats. In General, the main objective of the new crash tests remains the same-to bring Chinese cars to the level that would allow producers to markets in Europe and the United States. But the task remains difficult, because according to China Car Times, with crash-test on the applicable standards on five points, only 59% of all have Chinese Auto.
