Crocus Expo in Moscow from 15 to 18 September passed a unique show of vintage cars-Oldtimer-Gallery, which highlighted three important dates in the history of the development of domestic and international automotive industry. It's 125 years since the emergence of the world's first car with an internal combustion engine, 115 years, since the creation of the first Russian car and 125 years since the founding of company Robert Bosch GmbH.
A copy of the world's first car Benz and Mercedes-Benz 300SL on the stand of Daimler AG was made a copy of the world's first internal combustion engine, created in Mannheim by Carl Bentz and patented on January 29, 1886. The machine is operational, it can move its course. Its single-cylinder four-stroke engine with a capacity of 0.55 kW with a volume of 0, 954 litres preempts the technology that today is used in any internal combustion engine: the counterweight shaft, the electrical ignition, and the liquid cooling. In the same year, but later in the German city of Cannstette at Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft Gottlib Daimler, Daimler Daimler and his long-term colleague, Wilm Maybach, are creating their four-wheeler with an internal combustion engine. In 1900, Daimler and Daimler and Benz cars are named in Daimler-Benz AG (the modern name of Daimler AG), and since then all the cars of the association are called Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz CLS In addition to the first car, two more cars are represented on the stand. This is the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL SL, and the car of our Mercedes-Benz CLS-class days. The last car clearly demonstrates how far the progress of the automotive industry has progressed beyond 125 years. The Wall newspaper is dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the creation of the first car built in Russia. This is where a copy of this vehicle was installed on the revolving podium. The car, which was demonstrated in 1896 at the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod, was not preserved. It was built in C. Petersburg at the horse-carriage factory headed by Piotr Frese. The engine for the car was developed by a retired marine officer and founder of the kerosene and gas engines plant, Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Yakovlev. A stand with a copy of the first Russian single-cylinder engine was located in a car from the rear of the car horizontally and developed a capacity of about 2 l. The transmission was carried out on the rear wheels. The front wheels when changing the direction of the vehicle were rotated along with the front springs. The car's drawings are still undetected. The car was recreated by the team of the restoration department of the newspaper, literally, in one photo found in the archive of Nizhniy Novgorod. The drawings for the machine were made on the basis of this photo by means of graphic deployment of photographic image. A copy of the first Russian car is valid, all the nodes and aggregates in the operational state. On the stand dedicated to the 125th establishment of the foundation of the company Bosch, devices and details of electrical equipment not previously shown in Russia were shown. Here you can see interesting cars, including Horch 951A, naturally fitted with the Bosch electrical system, and also a BMW R 66 motorcycle, which clearly shows the details made by this company. On November 15, 1886, the company's stand firm Bosch Horch-951A received official permission to open his own firm "Mechanical Mechanics and Electrical Technicians" in the German Stuttgart. This firm is now called Robert Bosch GmbH. It is the creator of basic components and electrical systems for automobiles, not only. Bosch produces the same household appliances and electric tools and is famous for the quality of the products. Without a special exaggeration, it can be said that Bosch products are known to all, since the company's branches operate in many parts of the world. The ancient car clubs and various restoration workshops participating in the show were provided with a lot of domestic equipment from the Soviet period, starting from the armored ZL-41051 represented by the Special Purpose Garage, to the "humpback" ZO-965. From the abundance of GAZ-21 "Volga" cars, it was just a rippulle in the eyes. It was on the show and the rare well-rehearsed instances. For example, ZIS-33 and VMS-42 trucks, equipped with tracked vehicles, 42, were recovered at workshop E. Shamansky. A copy of the participant of the caracum mileage of the GAZ-AAA car is highlighted. ZIS-For the first time, a separate thematic exhibition " They built a car was presented on the Odttimer-Galleries. The underground Soviet car industry. " Not everyone remembers that in the 1960-80-s there was a movement of creators of homemade cars in the Soviet Union. At the time, it was difficult to buy a car, even with the necessary amount of money. Cars were in big deficits. The only way out is to build a car for yourself. "Since Russia has never had a lack of mingled and meritorated people, then home-made cars, then they began to appear on the open spaces of our country," he said. Back in the mid-1960s, there was a KD brand called a small batch of 2 + 2 coupe with a glass-plastic bodywork on ZO 965. The author of the design is famous designer Eduard Molchanov. The graphic artists Alexander and Vladimir Scherbinin were known then. They collected their first car in 1970 from "Volga" GAZ-21 units and units-the Thing will be referred to as the GAZ or the "Grand-Tourism of Shcherbini". The design was ahead of its time-the engine could be installed both in front and behind the seats on the "medium-engine" scheme. In the 1980s, special competition for the best homemade car, about their creators was written in the magazines "Zrudder" or "Youth Technology", TV was dedicated to the plots "You can". Now these machines give rise to mixed feelings of dying, surprise, admiration, and even the pride of the author of such a Thing, who has been able to find an elegant solution to the situation. These are some miraculum and naïve, which have turned from vehicles to collection objects, as a tribute to the talent, experience and knowledge of their creators, as a historical monument to the phenomenon of the history of the technological development of our country-an alternative to the official automobile industry. The "sweepers" were not dead. The exposition can be seen with modern home-made cars made at a good professional level. A lot of foreign cars, especially American and German cars, were presented on Odour-Galler. The lion's share of American cars covers the period of the late 1950s-1970s. German cars are represented by the period of the 1930s-60s of the 20th century. There are a number of Wehrmacht cars that took part in World War II. NSU Kittenkrad with Opel Olympia Engine, one of them is an interesting semi-tracked vehicle that can be called a semi-tracked motorcycle. The car is built on NSU and is equipped with an engine from Opel Olympia. One of the oldest exhibits on the show is the French Darraisq 1907. Sisters and interesting was the stand of Gerda, where, along with the products of "Gerda" car, were presented microcars of the Moserschmitt, American Fire REO 1929, as well as small models of automobiles, where two models were allocated the size of the palm produced from wood. The models not only opened doors but also operated door locks. In addition to cars on the show, it was possible to see motorcycles, exposition of different times, transport toys and many booths indirectly related to the car. This is, first of all, the rubble with ancient spare parts, the automotive books, the second, the tent of workshops involved in the manufacturing and restoration of small details of the necessary repairs of automobiles and, in third, pavilions with models of cars of different sizes. The engine of the first Russian car, the past show, has glamour the way for the development of the world and domestic automotive industry in more than a century. I can assume that it was very interesting and informative for the majority of visitors, both adults and children.
