The German manufacturer has shown an electric car designed for residents of big cities. Volkswagen Nils Nils - so-called concept from Volkswagen, presented at the Frankfurt motor show, which together with the Audi Urban Concept and Opel RAK e demonstrates a new approach to movement in the city. The concept is an electric car that runs on lithium-ion battery energy capacity of 5.3 kWh unlike similar car from Audi, Volkswagen Nils is designed for one driver, but the relationship with his "brother" can also be seen in capsule form of the car and put the wheels and other details such as the small touch screen in the cockpit. However, VW Nils little shorter than the Audi Urban Concept (3048 mm against 3219 mm) and is designed more for the person a little more practical and modest. But on the dynamic characteristics of this has no effect: the vehicle can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h and reach 130 km/h maximum speed by an electric motor 15 kW (20 HP ). This full charging lithium-ion batteries is "only" two hours. About pricing and revenue Volkswagen Nils in mass production yet knows nothing. However, in the development of this car already invested the Ministry of transport of Germany, and, therefore, most likely, the car will appear on the public roads, at least in Europe. Will we see in this case, the Volkswagen Nils in Russia is still unknown, but given the love of our fellow citizens in the big cities to fashion things, to exclude this possibility should not in any case.
