The German manufacturer will showcase new car, designed for residents of large cities. Volkswagen will show at the Frankfurt Motor Show concept of the new super-small electric vehicle. We have already seen a variation on a similar topic from another representative of Volkswagen Group-Audi, but now we are talking about the car, designed for a slightly different audience. The new electric vehicle will get the name of Nils and will occupy 1.39 m long, 1.39 m wide and 1.20 m high. The machine will be installed electrical motor power 15 kW (20 HP), which, however, will be able in a short time to issue and 25kW (34 HP) of power. Weighing in at 460 kg, Volkswagen Nils will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h for 11 seconds and 130 km/h maximum speed. The full charge lithium-ion batteries from the usual socket takes only two hours and the range of the car-65 km. Perhaps, this is not a record result, but for daily travel to and from work should suffice, and it is this use of the concept in the German company. As for the car's Interior, it is exactly the same as the VW Up! audio system, telephone and navigation will be managed with a touch screen. In addition, the security and the creators took care: despite the size of Volkswagen Nils we will see and the emergency braking system and active cruise control, and a frame made of aluminium. In General, the novelty has to be interesting. Well, let's wait for the official presentation and additional details about the car.
