Company Volkswagen presented a special modification of the model Beetle called GSR, which will be released in a limited edition of 3.5 thousand cars. Premiere of new items was held at the motor show in Chicago, which opened on 7 February.

The version name of the beetle stands for Gelb Schwarzer Renner (yellow-black racer). It was created in the style of a similar version of the 1970-IES, based on model Beetle 1303 S and issued by the same small party.

The novelty has front and rear bumper of the line R-Line black-painted 19-inch wheels with tires of the dimension 235/40, finished in black leather with yellow stitching for the seats and steering wheel, panoramic glass roof, bi-xenon headlights and Fender audio system.



Hatchback equipped with a 2-liter petrol turbomotorom capacity of 210 horsepower, which is available with either a six-speed DSG, or with šestidiapazonnym robot DSG dual-clutch. The first hundred kilometers per hour new gains for 7.3 seconds. Maximum speed-229 kilometers per hour. Average fuel consumption-7.3 liters per hundred kilometers.
