Rossiter impressed with modern car Formula 1

After the tests in Jerez James Rossiter shared his impressions from the management of modern machine Formula 1. The British have already participated in tests of the Formula 1 driving BAR, Super Aguri and Honda Racing, but it was from 2004 to 2008. Recently, the 29-year-old racer performs the role of test driver for Force India, working on the simulator.
After completing its portion of the test Rossiter shared his impressions about the new cars of Formula 1 and told about the tasks that needed to be resolved. . .
James Rossiter: "Pirelli Tires are very different from those with which I was dealing, I had to adapt to the KERS and DRS, but I worked with them on the simulator, so it was relatively easy. So basically I tried to understand the operation of the rubber, and to get an idea of the speed of modern machines of Formula 1.
We tried to conduct a series with a small amount of fuel and fresh tires, and then with full tanks, so I was able to feel the difference. I never ran the car with a large enough amount of fuel on Board, as in modern Formula 1 before the start. The difference is impressive.
We did not pay attention to the time on the circle, there was no need to attack aggressively, risking to make mistakes or encounter some other problems. I had just to get an idea of the speed of the machine, and learn to use it when working on the simulator.
I think the fact that Ferrari was invited to the tests Pedro de La Rosa and Force India - I, emphasizes that the simulation - it is really an effective tool.
