Also I'm glad I managed to pass a few runs to get a feel for how it behaves machine with full tanks is also an important experience. It's nice that the team asked me to help her this week, and I'm happy with how everything was.
Paul di Resta: "In General, the tests were positive. We have completely fulfilled our program has worked with the settings aerodynamics, examined various options balance chassis and gathered a lot of information. Mileage was also recruited a solid, and I'm quite comfortable behind the wheel of a new car. The main goal was to find out more about the new tyres, and we have extensive data that will help us move forward in the right direction before the tests in Barcelona".
Jacob Andreasenchief race engineer: "We leave Jerez with a sense of satisfaction: the team has performed standing before her tasks, and learned a lot about VJM06. Much attention was paid to the settings of aerodynamics, we also worked closely analyzing the behavior of new tires. Because now we have to study all these data in preparation for the next test session.
It's nice that we are waiting for a ten-day break: we will have enough time to evaluate the speed of the machine and to really understand where we are compared to other teams. As always, test team this week worked with great intensity, it is supported by experts who were at the team's Silverstone, and this allowed us to work with maximum efficiency".
