Mike Kaplan: our approach is justified

On the first pre-season test in Jerez Williams was the only one who worked with last year's machine, but reliable and proven chassis FW34 allowed to collect a large amount of information about the new Pirelli rubber and efficiency of aerodynamic solutions that will be installed on the FW35.
Mike Kaplan, technical Director: "the Four day test in Jerez with FW34 were quite positive. We have fully complied with the rich program verification components and parts that will be used on the FW35 - our approach is justified, before the real tests of new technical solutions they need to undergo a serious test.
Racers actively worked with rubber and settings - during the racing weekend, we could not implement such a program due to time limitations. Although the results of this work are not very representative due to aggressive asphalt in Jerez, we have collected a large amount of information for further analysis.
We look forward to the next test, which will be held in Barcelona, where the team will present FW35".
Valtteri Bottas: "Excellent tests, I enjoyed the two days spent on the road. We without any problems implemented a planned program, I was satisfied with the work of our technical team. The team gathered important information about some of the decisions for our new machine, and now I'm excited for the tests in Barcelona, where the first sit behind the wheel of the FW35".
Presentation of the Williams FW35 will be held on February 19, before the start of the second series of tests.
