UK-baserade sportbil fast planer på en stor ökning av produktionen med ett sortiment av kul-relaterade modeller Caterham, brittiskt ras och teknik grupp, syftar till att bygga tiotusentals egna varumärken bilar per år 2020, enligt dess VD, tidigare F1 teamchef Mike Gascoyne. Caterham och Renault sport bilarna blir nästan identiska under huden, men parterna kommer alla skapa sina egna styling. Caterham använder en kombination av egna designers och en välkänd UK design house för uppgiften. Gascoyne säger den nya Coupen kommer att dra inflytande från de sju att skapa en familj look. We already have customers in the marine, aviation and racing industries, said Gascoyne. But our future is in building road cars. Were here to make money. The Caterham empire now includes the F1 team (which recently moved to the former Arrows works in Oxfordshire), the traditional Caterham Cars business, an advanced composites firm in Germany and the Hingham-based CTI.
