Chevrolet will show a new compact SUV at the Delhi motor show next month. Chevrolet is readying a kompaktni SUV to rival the Ford EcoSport. The model will be unveiled at the Delhi motor show next month.
The sub-four-metre SUV is likely to be based on GMs Gamma II plaform that underpins the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo, Trax and Opel Mokka. The model is understood to be powered by a 77bhp 1. 3-litre diesel engine.
The new model will be targeted primarily at the Asian market. Last month GM confirmed Chevrolets European operations were to close in order for the firm to focus on its Opel and Opel brands. A Opel spokesman said there were no plans for it to be introduced under the Opel or Opel banner.
A facelifted version of the Chevrolet Spark, badged locally as Beat, will also premiere at the show, s new bumpers and lights.
