The company McLaren Automotive has released the first pictures of the interior of the P1 supercar, which is the ideological successor to the legendary model F1. The public debut of new items will be held in March this year at the motor show in Geneva.

According to McLaren, the interior of the car, designed in a minimalist style almost entirely of carbon fiber, should remind the driver in the cockpit of a jet fighter. In the cabin there is almost no sound insulation and textile mats will be offered only for an extra charge. In equipping the McLaren P1 will include climate control, navigation and expensive Meridian audio system.

Supercar got fully digital instrument panel and buckets with ultra-thin carbon skeleton. Seats, according to the developers, have the minimum number of soft filler, weighs 10.5 kg and their backrest is fixed and is located at 28 degrees from the vertical position.

If necessary, you can change the incline of up to 32 degrees to ensure the driver more space over your head when you put the race helmet. Height of seats will adjust to each specific driver.

The McLaren P1 will be powered by a 700-horsepower power unit that includes a gasoline motor and a recovery system KERS kinetic energy. The company expects to produce only 500 of these luxury cars. The cost of each of them is about 800 thousand pounds (996 thousand euros).
