Thread: LA motor show: Ford Transit Connect

Six and seven-seat models for US market Ford has launched the new Tourneo Connect at the LA Motor Show for the North American market, where it replaces the 10-year old Transit Connect.
To badged as a Transit, the Connect will be available as a five and a seven seater, and will come with a choice of two petrol engines – the 1. 6-litre four-cylinder turbo and a 2. 5-litre four pot. No diesels are planned yet.
The Connect is aimed squarely at private buyers who want space and seats, and its being pitched as an alternative to an MPV or an estate car. The last generation Connect was marketed as much more of a commercial vehicle in the US.
