At a recent meeting of the Moscow government, Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin has announced an increase in the average speed on the roads — traffic on the outbound highways have accelerated to 12%, while in urban area municipal Parking lots — 10%. It is reported portal M24.ru.
The mayor stressed that the traffic situation of the city in particular benefited from the extension of the paid Parking zone (i.e. from the Garden ring to the TTC and, in some areas, a little further) and vehicles towing violators of Parking rules.
However, Sobyanin stressed the entry of the order of 90 km of new roads, traffic control trucks, a partial implementation of a comprehensive scheme of movement within the Third transport ring and a slight decrease in the number of accidents.
Referred to the mayor and the recent study by TomTom, according to which the level of road congestion of Moscow decreased by 24% and now stands at 50%. In practice, this means 4 th place in the ranking of the most cork city after Istanbul, Mexico city and Rio de Janeiro instead of the first.
Well, now the capital goes a little faster. What do you say, Muscovites have noticed the difference?
