American Ram, now living separately from Dodge, rolled out at the Detroit auto show real combat 1500 — specially prepared off-road version of the pickup, which received the second name of Rebel (Rebel, in our opinion). The novelty with a set of technical and cosmetics-upgrades will come in the second half of 2015.
Superficially, this Ram in the first place, can be identified by a modified muzzle, where he appeared led fog-lights, a different grille, nostrils on the hood and bumper with towing eyes. In addition, he is on 17-inch wheels with Toyo tires at 33 inches, and the rear flaunt chrome exhaust pipes.
The goggle-eyed will notice and slightly increased ground clearance (2.5 cm to 26.1 cm in General), and as for the not so notable innovation is the Bilstein shocks plus some other updates suspension. Customers can choose from the rear and AWD, but the default settings will get blocked differential rear axle.
The engine can be 6-cylinder Pentastar with almost 310 forces and 364 Nm traction or Hemi 8 cylinder, 5.7 l volume and exactly 400 horses (at 555 Nm of torque). Both provided 8-speed automatic, while the latter offered only with four-wheel drive in the kit.
So here is the beast from the Ram to get acquainted with 1500 Rebel invite in our gallery.
