Mark Webber: We can't stand still
Upon completion of the second series pre-season test mark Webber spoke with journalsits about the need for constant improvements machinery and correct assessment of the behaviour of the tyres. . .
Mark Webber: we know that if not for three months to refine the car easily rivals will come forward, so we cannot stand still. Many teams now speak of progress, but we prefer to demonstrate it on the track. This year we will try to repeat previous successes, and the goal is clear: we like racing, like the feeling of triumph and we will try to keep it.
Next week we will continue to work with the tyres, to better understand their behavior. It is important to understand how they behave at different temperatures. This week the second day of tests when on the highway the sun was shining, was, perhaps, optimal from the point of view of weather. Check tire will be a major challenge, and the rest is to assess the effectiveness of new products, which are essential to maintain the lead.
Today was unusual in terms of weather, but I was pleased. The mechanics worked excellent, enthusiastic team-I haven't seen it!
