Technical problems prevented Caterham in Barcelona

Unsuccessfully completed the first day of testing in Barcelona for Caterham. Charles Peak was time to go 49 laps when his car had problems with the gearbox. The team failed to promptly troubleshoot and prematurely ended the work on the track. . .

Charles Peak: "49 laps on the first day of the second test session was not quite the result that I expected the team, but we were able to do a lot of the planned program.

With every lap I felt more comfortable. In the first half of the day we worked on the same program, and that on the second day of testing in Jerez. After the break, we planned to work with the tires, but when I went to the track, in the third turn have problems.
When the car returned to the pits, we found that the refusal is related to the gearbox, so we had to terminate the test day. The team is already working on fixing the problem. I am sure that by tomorrow morning everything will be ready, and we can continue."
