Mark Webber supports the restriction of the use of DRS
In 2013, the year the riders will be less active use of the DRS system, because under the new rules all the days weekend controlled rear wing can be applied only in special areas on the route defined by the FIA.
Before this rule was applied only on Sundays, during the Grand Prix - now it is extended to training and qualifications. Mark Webber believes that this is the right step, because it will reduce unnecessary risk.
"I think it's good," says mark Webber. Racers have long been proposed to allow the use of DRS in qualifying only on those sections of the track in the race. For teams and drivers there is no reason to go on Fridays and Saturdays open rear wing. It only increases the risk, and if we can slightly improve the situation, then why not do it?"
However, there are riders, not entirely share this view. "Personally, I prefer to use DRS everywhere, but if you all want less how to apply it, I don't mind," said Lewis Hamilton on the tests in Jerez. I opened the DRS on the straight, but the difference is not felt".
