Mark Webber: Yes, I had a good vacation. Last year the season was long and ended almost Christmas! I not only rested, but also underwent a minor operation on his leg, which was good, and now I'm ready to fight. Nice to see a new car, but I'm already looking forward to Tuesday, when you sit behind the wheel.
Question: Ahead of your seventh season in this team, this year it is the longest sequence in the Formula 1. This stability helps you?
Mark Webber: Upcoming season for me will be the seventh in the team, and I think this is a serious advantage. At first I didn't think that our cooperation will last so long in our sport it is difficult to achieve such stability.
It is very important that we are able to maintain people's excitement and motivation. This is a small team with big ambitions. I got great pleasure from those years that we spent together and look forward to the new season.
Question: this year you will have a new race engineer...
Mark Webber: Keron Pilbeam after many years in the Red Bull Racing moved to the other team, and my new race engineer will be Simon Rennie. I look forward to beginning our work. Yes, the situation has changed a bit - I'll have to get used to a new person in his team, he had to adapt to working with me, but Simon is an experienced engineer who has worked with several great riders - I have no doubt that he will do and we will be able to win.
Question: You first sit behind the wheel RB9 - what do you expect from the first circles?
Mark Webber: I have many years of perform on machines built by Adrian Newey, and I know that can trust them. My challenge tests in Jerez - to try to understand what we need to find areas in which you want to add.
Winter tests - this is not a race, all the next week will be dedicated to gathering information. You should try to drive maximum distance, even guys in the garage have to be bored, to gather maximum information.
