Sergio Pérez: Differences turned out to be more than I expected

On Wednesday Sergio Perez first sat behind the wheel of the new McLaren MP4-28 and drove 81 circle, showing the seventh day. After test completion Perez shared his impressions with journalists. . .
Sergio Perez: "the First day in my new office" went well. Differences were slightly larger than I expected, to much had to adapt to a different position in the cockpit, a different grip steering wheel. You could even say that I had to start from scratch in McLaren everything else, from the handlebars to the pedals, but I have a feeling that we are moving in the right direction.
Feedback from the very beginning was good. As soon as I drove out of the pits and drove the first few laps, I realized that the machine has great potential. Perez was asked to compare a new car with McLaren last year's Sauber, but the Mexican refused to do so. . .
"It is difficult to compare. We have other tires, and the circuit in Jerez is a totally different type of tracks. I can only say that the mechanical clutch in good, but from the point of view of aerodynamics is a very solid machine, and I am very satisfied with it.
