When the Germans showed the prototype Opel GTC Paris at the Paris Motor Show, we were delighted. Will a serial hatchback get so bright in class appearance? Now, considering the official photos of the Opel Astra GTC, we realize that the car is not less attractive without a conceptual target. However, let' s take a look at the technical stuffing-there is also something to admire. The Opel Astra GTC press release reads as follows: in comparison with the five-door Astra, the GTC model has increased by 10 mm to 2,695, the clearance has decreased by 15 mm to 115 (the supercar Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG-125 mm) and the front and back tracks expanded by 40 and 30 mm to 1584 and 1588 respectively. By the way, despite the modest road clearance, the three-door is almost as practical as the usual Astra: the volume of the baggage compartment is 370 and the folded back sofa-1235. The distance between the axles is greater than the centimetre due to the elongated longitudinal levers (the Watt mechanisms). The front of McPPherson has been separated by separate turning fists as the "hot" Insignia OPC, to offset the effect of the power steering, which is characteristic of a powerful front-wheel drive. The Opel Astra GCS interior is four-and they're all inflatable. The heavy fuel engine has 165 forces and 380 Nm, and can accelerate the hatchet C-class up to 210 km/h (acceleration to 100 occurs in 8.9 seconds). At the same time, a two-liter diesel engine in a mixed cycle uses only 4.9 litres of diesel and "exhale" to the atmosphere of 129 g CO2 per km. For example, a 56-litre tank must be about 1,100 km of track. The least capable petrol unit is the "quartet" 1. 4 o 120 l. Further down the hierarchy staircase is followed by the same 16-valve, but with 160 "horses". Both produce the maximum of two hundred Newton metres with the same "combustible" consumption (average 5.9 l/100 km) and carbon dioxide emissions (139 g/km). Opel Astra GTTCC is content with engine 1. 6 that can generate the limit 180 s. and maintain a speed of 220 km/h. All engines in the base are designed with a six-speed "mechanic" and equipped with a start/stop system (with the exception of 1598-cc). Other transmissions, as well as more sports options, will be available later (the OPC modification in 2012). The osnication is the most advanced: optional bxenon headlamps adjusting the light depending on the road situation, the camera Opel Eye of the second generation following the signs, striping and notifying the driver of the distance to the front of the vehicle in front; the adaptive chassis FlexRide, which has three operating modes (Standard, Tour and Sport). The Opel Astra GTCC will be set up at the company in the Polish town of Gliwice. European dealers have started accepting orders at the Opel Astra GTC today, despite the global premier's scheduled engine for the September engine show in Frankfurt. Prices start at 21,750 euros and go to the ceiling of 27,885 euros.
