Před pár dny jsem v seznamu finalistů pro Světové Auto Roku a World Performance car awards. Tam jsou také dvě další ocenění vycházející ze stejné WCOTY organizace. Pro tyto ocenění, expertů udělat první utracení hodni uchazeči a pak 66 auto novináři o porota hlasováním na finalistů. 2011 World Car Design of the Year finalistů: Alfa Romeo Giulietta Aston Martin Rapide Audi A7 Citroen DS3 Ferrari 458 Italia Honda CR-Z Kia Sportage Nissan Juke Předchozí vítězové světového designu vůz roku ocenění byli Chevrolet Camaro v roce 2010, Fiat 500 v roce 2009, Audi R8 v roce 2008, Audi TT v roce 2007 a Citroen C4 v roce 2006. Konečně, 2011 World Green Car finalistů: BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Vydání Chevrolet Volt Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-Cell Nissan LEAF Smart electric drive Předchozí World Green Car vítězové byli Volkswagen BlueMotion (Golf, Passat, Polo) v roce 2010, Honda FCX Clarity v roce 2009, BMW 118d s Efficient Dynamics v roce 2008, Mercedes-Benz E320 Bluetec v roce 2007 a Honda Civic Hybrid v roce 2006. Novináři mají k dokončení jejich konečné hlasování příští týden. První tři finalisty v každé ze čtyř kategorií budou vyhlášeni na autosalonu v Ženevě a čtyři vítězové budou představena na 2011 World Car Awards tiskové konferenci pořádanou společností Bridgestone Corporation a New York International Auto Show, ve čtvrtek, 21. dubna 2011. For these awards, industry experts do the initial culling of worthy contenders and then the 66 auto journalists on the jury vote on the finalists. I have not yet decided which car I think is the best design or the greenest – which ones would you vote for?
