Currently the standard GT-R, which is powered by a 542bhp 3. 8-litre twin-turbocharged V6, is capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in three seconds flat.

It's too preliminary to share any details yet, but fans can be certain we'll be applying all of our motorsport expertise to creating a GT-R Nismo worthy of the name.
The new Nissan GT-R Nismo will join existing Nismo models, including the Nissan 370Z Nismo and the Nissan Juke Nismo.
Besides the Nismo badging, these models feature styling, interior and performance tweaks to differentiate them from the standard versions.
Due to go on sale next year, the new GT-R Nismo will be available alongside the standard version in Nissan's specialised GT-R dealerships.
