We have repeatedly advised to refuel at gas stations only famous brands. What can happen if a departure from the rule?
Uhm Russia does not understand, roulette Russian not to measure. From the Internet, out of six selected samples of A95 petrol, only two were completely off-line, and there was no such thing in our fuel expertise yet! How did this come to you? To some extent, the result ... is provoked by us. From the room we don't stop saying, drivers, don't take the risk! The country has enough modern filling stations of well-known brands, on them and refute. Alas: our man in nature is an amateur of adventures and halves, and therefore considers such a kind of lecture to be boring. So we decided to take a drive from Moscow to Kaluga and buy "almost brand" 95 gasoline. Before the container refuellings were not made-oriented at the filling stations, which are called the names or color schemes of decoration resemk famous stamps, but in fact they have nothing to do with them. You don't have to tell me who it is. Addresses, turnout, and passwords are in our help (at the end of the article). The editorial board, as usual, at each gas station constituted an act; the next canister was assigned a code, after which the anonymous samples were taken to the North West District Certification Centre (St. Petersburg). Each passed two independent test cycles: first checked the basic physico-chemical parameters (FFHP) for compliance with the existing Technical Regulations (TR) and the various standards, and then conducted a motor test series. The results are summarized in the table. As already stated at the beginning, only two of the six "premium" purchased "Premiums" were fully certified. WHO WAS CHECKED BY 1. "It's not gasoline!" The comments are superfluous: to sell the substandard 80th under the guise of ' 95-what! But it's a lot cheaper than others. + Motor went on, no more praise. -It would have been better if the engine hadn't started. 2. GP does not comply with the Technical Regulation '95 is bad' 92! At best, it's a bygone class 2. The grays and benzene are too much for the modern motor. Olevins are on the verge of tolerance-such fuel is not very stable for long-term storage. + You can drive when absolutely necessary. But why? -Low octane number, high sulphur and benzene. 3. The DMHC does not conform to the Benzine Technical Regulations-express 92nd, although the money is taken as "Premium". You can ride only on the accelerator pedal. You don't need to put pressure on the accelerator. The benzene is a little bit more than benzene, but more than that. + Does not contain any metals or resins. -Octane number: 92nd at 95. 4. SNELL does not comply with the Technical Regulations through the regulations due to a slight increase in benzene. Rules are rules, there's nothing to argue about. Otherwise it would have been in the leaders: the engine was working well on it, no problem. Yes, it's also a better economy! + Good motor indicators, the highest octanoic number. -Benzene has exceeded the TR. 5. "KOIL" One of the two samples to which the overseers would not have been able to claim. Practically honest class 4. The highest vapour pressure is good for the launch. In the summer, traffic jams are possible. And we've got resins! + Honest 95-grade 4. Good launch properties, good motor indicators. We found the resin. 6. "PPETROL" No claim for quality, pure class 4, with good motor properties and environmental performance. + It is possible to blend into the tank of any, even the most modern machine. -That's a lot of ether, which makes the motor properties worse. TESTED CHECKED NUMBER (PM) is the basic parameter of petrol that defines its detonation resistance. Recall that we paid for 95 petrol, but it was only half of the six. Two-from the DNC and GP-were 100%. More than others "succeeded" "LIBYL": this firm, under the guise of "Premium" sold us the uncertified 80th, but it is noticeably cheaper than the others. Remember how many times a stingy pays off? We will note that this gasoline was amusing for other parameters. What's that? Either the surplus from some military warehouse, sold by a hipster, or a clean run from the "samovar," without the slightest attempt to pull the fuel a little closer to the best "Premium". Condolence to those who, unlike us, didn' t put it in a can, but into the fuel tank. GUM CONCENTRATION. Instilts engine resource-from hanging of valves to piston rings. This parameter is not included in the TR, therefore we are guided by GOST 51105-97, where the limit for resin content in petrol is set to 5 mg/l. All the petrol in this norm has been met, and four were not resins, but two "oil", "LK" and "Ek" were found to be 1.6 and 1.0 mg/l, respectively. Okay, that's simple. CONCENTRATION OF SULPHUR. Liliates to the environment and to the resource. Not so long ago we wrote that our fuel is close to the end of the first hundred in the general rankings of petrol consumers, we are inferior even to Uganda ... What happened this time? Four of the six samples have been met in the requirements of Class 3 (this is our equivalent of Euro 3). Gas from GP does not correspond to this (because the current TR 2 is already producing-then it is not possible). Again the liquid from LCOYLA, which gave up almost 0.14% of the sulphur, was a record! MANGANESE AND IRON CONCENTRATION. Metallic-containing anti-detonators are prohibited! Fortunately, the analysis did not reveal them. We were relieved, though. A FRACTION OF BENZENE. Benzene is a carcinogenic risk. Its contents are now severely restricted: not more than 1 per cent. This requirement, and then at the limit, only met two gasoline from six. Again, "leaders from the end"-"LIBYL" and GP. THE VOLUMETRIC SHARE OF HYDROCARBONS. They affect the toxicity and the fuel resource, increasing the propensity for sediments. For this parameter, all petrol has been met in the framework of Class 4. A FRACTION OF OXYGENATES. These components reduce the calorific value of gasoline, increase its aggressiveness towards rubber and plastic. Practically all the samples except the fuel "LIKOIL", whose producers did not have any octane number, have found enough ether. No one has come out of the current rules, but the motor characteristics of the ether have been influenced. The high content of methyl trebutyl ether (MTBE) markedly reduces the caloric content of petrol-it has become, its consumption increases and capacity falls. Incidentally, the dependence of the MTB content on the total octane number is also characteristic. The DIK and GP (essentially 92nd) benzene have about 3 ... 5% of this component, and the normal 95-"Ekoyle", Snell and "GP PETROL"-7 ... 9%. For reference, the normal "premium" received at modern refineries does not usually contain ethers at all. OF THE SIX SAMPLES SELECTED, ONLY TWO WERE FULLY CERTIFIED. SATURATION VAPOUR PRESSURE (DNP). Determines the triggers for petrol and their propensity to form steam runs. They all went to bed, too, but the LOPYL was singled out with the lowest DNA. The engine's gonna get worse on gasoline. Even though this is an octanoic number, it may be for the best, since it is not worth driving on such gasoline at all. MOTOR INDICATORS. Characterize the behaviour of the actual motor according to the parameters of the heated fuel. More or less normally, the engine worked only on three samples-from "Ecopile", Snell and "SIG PETROL", which effectively positioned their membership of "premium". A small increase in the benzene content of the Snell to the engine has had little impact. Moreover, the total measured parameters (power, fuel consumption) of this petrol were even slightly better than the other two, from "Ecopile" and "SIG PETROL". In small and medium workloads, they were not particularly inferior to the leaders, but with increased load they were tapped by the detonation of knocks. The detonation sensor is clearly recorded and reacted by moving the timing of the ignition. Of course, the worst engine was in "LiCOYL". Though he did, it was a detonation, that the further torture we had decided to stop was so clear. And how quickly on this fuel will kill the catalyst, check not steel, and the details are pitiless, and the meaning of the special has not been seen. HOW COULD THAT BE? There was no sign on the side of the road. And close? Just two of the six certified samples, what are we talking about? Therefore, we repeat: do not want problems, be corrected only at the verified filling stations of well-known brands! They may argue that we will kill this competition and bless the price limit. Maybe, but ... But imagine your own car, which instead of ' 95, makes 82nd, and that's the same thing. And the Russian roulette should be a hero. They have a job like that. OUR COMMENT IS WHO IS TO BLAME? As usual, the expertise covered only sample samples. However, our conclusion is quite categorical: for visits to unfamiliar gas stations with suspicious price centres, the risk of a bad gas is always high. Who is responsible? Of course, the owners of the firms that trade in some obscure way. But this is not the whole truth, because a similar test of two years ago did not reveal anything like that. Now, large oil traders have taken a course to crowd out small firms from the fuel market and have simply closed them access to quality fuel from their refineries. But the main blame lies, in our opinion, on the officials, who, by their decisions, completely destroyed the old system of fuel quality control. She was an obstacle to an obvious falsifiability. Do you think it's often possible to get a supervisor at the gas station to check it out? Once every three years! It is only a preliminary notification to the management of the firm to be checked. THE INSPECTOR MAY NOT TRAVEL TO THE AZIS MORE OFTEN THAN ONCE EVERY THREE YEARS. So, corruption among the overseers was won, removing them at all! Just for whose account and what price? A complete abolition of compulsory certification is to be completed in 2012: the quality of the fuel will be declared, that is, it will be confirmed and guaranteed by the manufacturer. If you don't like something, go to court. So there are not many reasons for optimism. The total tables are opened to the full size of the table:
