There are two main reasons - the global environment and high taxes. "Our oil companies have long been sold to the Russian consumer goods 20% more expensive than they should have been selling. Now this is no longer there. You can argue about the prices but our high prices are due to global market conditions, primarily. In the markets is very high oil prices. And secondly, the huge amount of taxes up to 50% of the cost of one liter of gasoline," said Artemyev. "They certainly high, but the price on world markets, war in the middle East and the Arab revolution, create scarcity around the world today," - said the head of FAS.
