The oldest of the existing car-La Marquise, also known under the name of De Dion-Bouton et Trepardoux, will go under the hammer. Unique machine will be put up for auction Gooding & Company recently, in October, 2011. Car La Marquise, released in 1884, the Comte de Dion is propelled by a steam engine, develops a 61 km/h maximum speed, and the ability to overcome the 32 km on one tank of water. As fuel for the machine can be used for almost any combustible material, but mainly for this purpose apply wood, coal and paper. Selling a car is well preserved thanks to its previous owners: in 1906, La Marquise became an officer of the French army Henri Doriol′, at whose disposal the machine remained as much as 81 year and just have a unique vehicle in history had only four owners. Experts estimate the model in 1.6 million dollars, while the United States is particularly bold avtostariny fans believe that La Marquise will take at least 2-2, 5 million dollars. However, let's wait for the October 6, 2011 year-just then the car should receive their new official wearer.
