KIA Spectra: spectral analysis
It's time to say farewell to "KIA-Spectra", on which I walked more than 140 000 km Parted with a slight sadness. Five years she had served faithfully, and if sometimes failed, mainly due to poor quality components. In General, I will tell you all about it, and you judge for yourself.
Kia Spectra REPEATED IN 2006 "Spectra" was one of the most popular budgetary inomsalos in the country (sold more than 25,000 sedans in the year), so we have acquired it for long trials. Picking was chosen the most common-NV (manual box, hydro-amplifier, air-conditioner, two pillows). The euro rose to $2.01 billion from $2.18 billion. (or US$ 13,320) (In United States dollars) The first serious test for a dark red sedan was the 60-hour driving test (2006, No. 10). Four vehicles ("CHA-Spectra", "Chevy-Lanos", "Cher-Amulet" and gas-31105 with the engine "Chrysler") were released at the start, and only three were reached. Spectra was considered to be the best: the distance without a single breakdown showed the average speed on the cycle of 183 km/h and the fuel consumption of 13.6 l/100 km (this is a long ride at maximum speed). Moreover, the test vehicles were driven to 195 km/h in direct sections, although, according to the manufacturer, the maximum speed was 186 km/h! The difference is likely to be written off by the accuracy of the speedometer. After the marathon, the car went to me-described, dear comrade, experience of exploitation. That's what I've been doing for five years and over a hundred thousand kilometers. Spectra in 2006 was the winner of the "60-hour" Marathon. I'm looking at the footage today, and I realize that by the big account, the car was practically free of "generic diseases." Of the apparent flaws inherent in this model, one can remember that the driver's seat was too late a back, which was quickly draining the back (with the help of several puck-pucks under the sled in the centre of the ZR) and the defective hinges of the stove. It was not a coincidence that three of them had gone out of order, and now the fourth radiator was now working under the hood. And if the first and the second were under warranty, the third had to buy it on its own. It was not too expensive (2,300 rubles per dollar). plus 850 rubles. for antifreeze, but it was very hurtful. The service wizard said that this is a common disease of all the "spectrum": the model in Korea has long been withdrawn from production, so control of the quality of components on the part of the parent company is no longer the same ... The most problematic feature was the radiator of the oven. Under the hood it is now the fourth! The latter, by the way, has been the most durable: it has been in service for a year and a half. The price of the question is RUB 131.00. The dollar rose by 2.22 rubles to 92.22 rubles. for the original. According to the service record, the GRM replacement belt is recommended to be carried out every 75,000 km. On the company service, where the car was served for the first three years (until the warranty expired), I was honestly warned: it needs to be changed by 60,000 km. But they asked for this operation at a completely insignificant price: 16,000 rubles. The car was just three years old, and we decided to save it by servicing it in the centre of the centre. The complete set of costals (belt and two rollers) cost 1,500 rubles ($1.20). , the work took an hour or two. And then there was my mistake, which had resulted in serious repairs. To change the belt for the second time, by 120,000 km, I just forgot! "Spectra" reminded me of my forgetfulness by 126th thousand. Under the hood something flashed, a knuckle, a backpack, and the engine stopped. Well, the speed was small, cars on the road a little (off), and it happened in Moscow, not on a long trip. I'm sorry to have towed my Spectra to our tech center. The autopsy revealed that all 16 of the valves were bent with the saddest consequences. It wasn't just them, but the bearings, the pumps, the rollers, the gaskets ... And the belt itself, of course. In short, the spare parts only left over 10,000 roubles. So the conclusion is one: people need to believe, not instructions ... The EMG's belt has burst for 126,000 miles. The consequences were the saddest-all 16 valves were bent! Other breakdowns in Spectra haven't really buzed me. One starter, one fuel-level sensor, died twice at the time of operation, and the steering sled of the front passenger seat was broken twice and it was taken to walk back and forth. There is no blame for the Russian assembly: the knot came from Korea. Topical welding in the nearest service cost 100 rubles each time. The clutch did not survive too long, 65,000 km, overlapping adhesive. The cost of the equipment is set at 3500 rubles ($ts). and has already gone over 75,000 miles. I hope to serve another ... Far from Spectra, mostly on a typical route: house-work-dacha. Although it was in her career and several trips around the country: in Sochi, St. Petersburg ... At the end of the first year of life, the Spektra, who was standing at the margins of the road, secured the truck and fled the scene. The huge wheel (left footprints) ran along the side of the side. Replacement of front fender and two doors (41,000 roubles) paid the insurance company; to my surprise, the details were delivered in a week, and the service was only taken four days! And another night, some "Pioneers" broke the tenor antenna. The new cost was 600 rubles. The years are unfavorable to the varnish coatings. Especially the bumper ... There was nothing more unpleasant with the dark red sedan, but the years took their own. The many violins that have been waiting for a long time, not even to speak. The body is tired ... The front bumper is all over the way, like wheelbarrows. ... and the caps of Not so long ago frownfully whistled-first one, and immediately after him and the other-bearing of the back stairs. They had to buy back crunches (not sold separately), but they were not cheap: 2,200 rubles. Then it was necessary to replace the stabilizer (a set of tunnels-800 rubles. ). After another 135,000 km of the car, the car was looked at in our center and delivered the verdict: the car still runs, but with every kilometer it will demand more attention and all large cash injections-the replacement of many important knots will be very useful. We were meeting and decided to say goodbye to Spectra. She has served for more than five years and has performed all the tasks assigned to her; most importantly, we have gathered invaluable experience in the operation of this model. To be honest with you. but the other details don't look like they're new. KILOMETER AND RUBLE, so what are the conclusions? "Spectra" was originally not a modern design (yet in Korea it was removed from production two years before our purchase!), or advanced technologies. It was just a good, inexpensive and reasonably reliable means of travel. Why? Salon is spacious, unmarkable. The suspension is solid. Engine's not bad. Of course, it could have been more economical (the average fuel consumption was 10.5 l/100 km), but he was happy to consume 92 gasoline and did not complain. And here is the declared power at 102 l. c. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. The two "extra" horsepower brings to a high transport tax (in Moscow up to 100 l. 7 rubles per dollar. In 2015, the ruble was at the level of 50 rubles per dollar. ). There were also the UTO, which should have been carried out every 15,000 km. Less than 10,000 roubles. I couldn't do it. Therefore, as soon as the guarantee is over, we have stopped communicating with the official service. And one more observation that made the breakup. Up to 125,000 km were spent on fuel: they accounted for 80 per cent of the full cost of operation. The rest went to spare parts and repairs. After the situation changed rapidly, the cost of repairs was almost a third of the total cost of the last 15,000 km! At the same time, all of our work was done in our technical center and the labor of its employees were not taken into account. In real life, the sum of these expenses will have to be added and paid for the work of the masters ... Nevertheless, the overall cost of 1 km of Spectra was one of the lowest in the history of lengthy testing of editorial vehicles-2.61 rubles. 1 km More economical than Vazov's "dozens" (ZR, 2011, no. 7)-2.24 rubles. /km "Reno-Logan", "FIA-Ta-Albea" and "Mitsubishi-Lancer" are costs above-2.92 (ZR, 2011, No. 5), 3.02 (ZR, 2011, No. 4) and 3.4 (ZR, 2011, No. 3) respectively. And that's where the mileage is less. Five years ago, the car cost 360,000 rubles. Now we are asking about 200,000 rubles for this kind of specimen. Even with the resale of Spectra, it turns out to be very profitable. By the way, another 2,000 spectrovsky machine-kits were recently brought to Izhoutoto. So this model will be back in the dealerers ' salons. I think these cars are going to be a very fast-model, albeit unwelcome one, but it's a good one.
