The German company Mefro Wheels has created a subsidiary company "Mefro wheels, Russia Togliatti Plant, which will produce wheels and parts and components of automobiles and their engines. Earlier media reported on the plans of the German firm to create AVTOVAZ joint venture to produce automotive drives. In April 2011 Mefro Wheels GmbH concluded a framework agreement to acquire the business of KAMAZ production wheels. Last week AVTOVAZ and Nissan signed an agreement on technical assistance in the production of plastic products Volga car.
