Its not that big of a deal, really, but we have a disagreement on the staff with regard to navigation systems. It seems that some of us (mostly the techies) make a habit of always setting a cars nav screen to the north-up mode. With paper maps, I fully understand that north should always be up. But in a traveling car, I find it much more informative to have the map set with the cursor pointed up, in the direction of travel. I like to see the streets I will be encountering without having to make the flop in my head. Whats your preference?
