At the Worthersee festival arrived 530-horsepower Volkswagen T1

Meet, perhaps the most unusual guest next VAG-gathering near the Austrian Lake Wörthersee-charged Volkswagen T1 from Swiss enthusiast (and part-time engineer) by Fred Bernhard. Fred spent six years is a miracle, but every day works uniquely cost order.
That same engineer once conceived the merry fellow, so it make the legendary T1 go. For real. For this he was, actually, very experimental, "Bernhard bought killed van 1962 model year — as well as a suitable filling. The choice fell on the 3.6-liter 6-cylinder engine from a Porsche 911 from the 90 's (993-Rd; with air cooling, yes), but this is not limited to Fred. And added to it a couple of turbines, a total of 530 vyžav forces and 757 Nm traction.

From 993-go Swiss enthusiast picked up the brakes and steering, while 6-speed mechanical box had borrowed the Porsche 996 GT3. More from special chips former hippie-van-18-inch rollers BBS, some body parts from carbon and total mass of just 1500 kg.
In General, now old T1 really rides being dispersed to the quite decent 230 km/h. Btw, you have a real chance to take a ride on this — the author nicknamed him racing taxi and willingly entertains people. Respekt!
