Results of the test in the morning session, Barcelona

On the morning of 19 February 11 teams started the second series of winter tests. After a short presentation of the new machine Williams, racers went to the track, continuing the work started two weeks ago in Jerez. The weather in Barcelona is favorable in the morning the air warmed up to +9C, rains today, the forecast is not promising.

Two hours after the beginning of the session there were red flags - Esteban Gutierrez stopped the car at the seventh turn, when the tanks ran out of fuel - Sauber tested the fuel system. The pause was short - work was able to continue after eight minutes.
In Jerez teams and tyre workers were unhappy too abrasive coating, but the characteristics of the track in Barcelona they are well known, so the Pirelli brought all four of composition slicks sample 2013.
After the first four hours the Protocol was headed by Sebastian Vettel. Ahead of the traditional Barcelona-hour lunch break, then the tests will be continued.
