Hello! Thank you so much for congratulations. I can honestly say I did not expect such a result. I set a goal of entering the top ten. Yes, and there were factors that did not allow us to think about first.

What?
As I said in an interview before the race, at the end of the season I had a very serious fall and injury, I was not able to train. Plus my participation in the race of Le Touquet under the "flag" HONDA approved on January 25th. Motorcycle Honda CRF 450R I was trained in France, and I personally could not participate in its preparation.

Your participation confirmed a week before the race?
Yes, that's right. Moreover, on January 28, I was already in France and January 29, got his motorcycle, potestis its only two days. on January 31, I left the French motorcycle mechanics, and they have made some improvements. Unfortunately, not everything we would like, but still basically the bike was ready.

These defects significantly hampered in the race?
Could not put aftermarket mufflers, I was driving on the stock pipes. Of course, this does not add power to the motorcycle (laughs), I just had a very difficult. But blame is not the lack of professionalism from the French or the lack of capabilities of HONDA, and a catastrophic lack of time! All decisions were made in a few days, but we can say, in a matter of hours by phone and online correspondence. Plus the time difference between Moscow and France, and the difficulties of translation. So we did everything that was possible only in these terms. To top it off, the weather on February 3, the day of the race, did not inspire optimism.

What's with the weather?
Yes the weather was just awful! The strongest wind with sand, rain. I could go on three range between fill UPS, but had to leave the Parc fermé after the second circle to change glasses. After half circle glasses come complete finish and the remaining pokrova to the Park I drove already blind! Some riders really was sinking in the wet sand, motorcycles stuck on the wheel and remained there until the end of the race, until they pulled out the equipment. Part of the track was washed away by the tide. Because of the weather even finish gave forty minutes earlier!

In the last interview I promised that I will do my best on all of 100%! And I tried to do it. I felt the support of fans and partners, and it gave strength and the desire not to disappoint, fail.
