RAV4, Tahoe, Crosstour Top SUV Vehicle Dependability Study J. D. Power and Associates has released its 2013 Vehicle Dependability Study, listing the top-rated SUVs from their segments. The study measures long-term vehicle quality after three years of ownership, so all the crossovers and SUVs listed below are from the 2010 model year. Each vehicle model was measured in problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) score with the industry average quality score being 126 PP100. The lower the score, the better the vehicle according to the study. Attachment 5350 Topping the compact crossover/SUV category is the 2010 Toyota RAV4 (84 PP100) while the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour was top rated with a score of 93 PP100 in the midsize crossover/SUV category. In the large crossover/SUV category, the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe scored a 117 PP100, improving by 32 PP100 compared to last year. In the entry premium economy crossover/SUV category, the 2010 Acura RDX topped the list with a 105 PP100 score, while the 2010 Lexus RX was best in the midsize premium crossover/SUV segment with an impressive score of 57 PP100.
