From 24 to 28 August in Moscow, international exhibition center "Crocus Expo" held a sports Humanities festival Yokohama Speed Festival, organized by Yokohama Rus. His guests were about 100 thousand people, and the main result of collecting 1 million to help victims of natural disasters in Japan.
The event was attended by the plenipotentiary representative of Japan to the Russian Federation Mr. Keiji Iway and the mayor of Khimki, Vladimir Vladimirovich Strelchenko. During five days Muscovites and guests of the capital witnessed a bright show-on the open platform their skills were demonstrated by professional racing drivers, participants of musical and dance groups from Japan of the famous studio Edo Wonderland. It was also possible to taste national Japanese cuisine and to see the exhibition of the famous Japanese photographer, Sâteaosh Oued, who first brought to Russia his photographs, which depicted the effects of the devastating tsunami in Japan. No doubt, the main stars of Yokohama Speed Festival have become masters of the drift from the Land of the Rising Sun. When teams of Team Orange were travelling to the platform, life in the vicinity was literally filled with great interest by the two Nissan Skyline and Subaru Impreza, the two Nissan Skyline and Subaru Impreza. Each performance of Team Orange was always accompanied by applause. The guests of the festival and Russian athletes-they not only demonstrated the possibilities of equipment, but also gave the guests to Yokohama Speed Festival a chance to join the world of high speeds-during all four days there was a racing taxi, the passenger of which could be anyone wishing to become a passenger, while the winners of Russian and international competitions were held behind the wheel: Aleksey Dudukalo, Mikhail Ukhov, Mikhail Zasadyć, Yuri Grigorenko and other pilots. Russian drift-net riefters, racers of the racing series Mitjet, Maksim Travin, and the professional team of Stunt Art were also shown for the audience. Also, they were able to show the participants of the Ninja parade and the show geisha. Closing the event, the head of the Russian representative office of Yokohama, Mr. Okishima Jounici, was unable to deny himself the pleasure of taking a ride on one of the cars of Team Orange as a passenger, after which he thanked all the audience and participants of the festival. The main purpose of the event was to raise funds for assistance to the victims of natural disasters in Japan. " Anyone who wishes to make a donation could make a sum of 1 million rubles. I would like to thank you all who made this holiday possible and turned it into a fascinating and unforgettable spectacle. I am very pleased that the Russians supported our charitable action. All funds will be transferred to the organization of the Japanese Red Cross and will help those who suffered from the natural disaster last spring. "
