Karma Automotive (formerly it was the Fisker) has signed an agreement with BMW contract for long-term cooperation within the framework of which will be used for new models of development units of the Bavarian group. First of all we are talking about the components of hybrid propulsion.
Details of the agreement were not disclosed yet, and no specifics on units that zapolučat new Karma. However, it is known that, among other things, BMW will supply some elements of a system of charging batteries. Also in the "Karma" emphasize that components of the German group will apply to all future models without exception (of course, prior to the expiration date).
By the way, now the company employs exclusively hybrid and fully electric installations. First after renaming and changing owners model (likely sedan) will be released in the year 2016 and brags plug-in-hybrid system.
Former Fisker officially changed its name earlier this year, after leaving the company, its founder, Henryk Fiskera and the emergence of the new owner is a Chinese manufacturer of accessories Wanxiang Group. Now Karma Automotive forging work in California on a new leased facility. From 2013-th company does not released neither car.
