Jaguar Land Rover has confirmed its intention to invest 355 million pounds in a new plant for the production of the latest technological and environmentally friendly engines in the UK.

This is an extremely important task for our company, and we will be releasing a modern, high-performance engines for future models of Jaguar and Land Rover at a new plant in the UK. In the next five years we plan to invest 1.5 billion pounds per year to develop new products and expand the range of engines will help us fully realize the global potential of brands Jaguar and Land Rover. The newest family of 4-cylinder engines will expand the range of JLR highly efficient engines with the most advanced in its class technology, and once again will reduce emissions of company cars". It is expected that the plant to produce engines will create 750 jobs for highly skilled engineers and workers in JLR, as well as thousands of other places for highly skilled workers in the supply chain and other companies in the UK economy.
