A little over a month since the return of our pilots from Paris, where in the middle of April took place world finals event, participating in Amateur national races Sodi World Series. The results were not unambiguous. However, passion has slightly subsided, and we introduce you to the retrospective pattern...
What is SWS? Soda World Series International amateur competitions were born in 2009 by the initiative of the French manufacturer of the wide spectrum of Sodosi. The regulation prescribes national competitions with different credits (personal, absolute, male and female, age, command, etc. ), where the best pictures are sent to France to identify, let' s say, the best of the best. From a technical point of view, the series involves the use of two car classes in national races-Star Cup (with engines up to 18 l.) and Master Cup (from 18 l. c. (...) (...) The Russian "perfomans" so it happened that at the time of the SWS international series the rolling maps of the Russian card "Mayak" were just the machines of the Soda Star Cup class. So there was no agreement with the French about participation in the shuttle. The beginning of the race in Russia is also dated 2009. At first, the Russian SWS stage was gathered around 20 to 40 participants. In fact, in the course of the year, the series gained momentum, and in 2010 the number of "classmates" rose to 30 to 60 representatives at each stage. The organizers rightly considered that, despite the objective increase in popularity of the series, we are still early to introduce a team credit. At the same time, in the personal credit of passions in the races of the 2010 sample, the boil was far from being noisy. The level of our SWS, in particular, says the fact that five Russians were among the top 30 of the world's TOP in the end of the season. And our Jeanne Polozov is the best in the world among the girls participating in these competitions! In short, our delegation to the Grand Final of the Sodoi World Series was objectively able to expect the highest results. Maxim Alulin, Kirill Varyukhin, Evgeny Yermilov, Grigory Karasev, Vitaliy Polozov and Zhanna Polozov (in alphabetical order)-the composition of the pilots of the Russian team, who defended the colors of the Russian flag in the key race of SWS in April ... I want to go to Paris again! For the second year in a row, the GF was held in the province of Pantoas (a suburb of Paris). A few words about the track. "Racing", let' s say, the space of the cardboard is divided into two separate tracks, the length of 1200 and 900 meters each. Both configurations are used both in the forward direction (clockwise) and counterclockwise ("reverse"). Incidentally, this time the participants of the GF were to move in the opposite direction. The two tracks are interesting, with good coverage. It is surprising that there are no stands on the carthodrome at all! Organizers, judges, participants, commentators and spectators-all are cosy in the same room. The Frenchman is providing a class of Master Cup-the chassis of Soddi with a 250 cubic metre motor. see with a capacity of 22 litres. c. To level the chances of the participants, all machines are carried (the weight of the pilot is equated to a standard-72 kg). There are about 60 maps in the park. Alas, there is no need to speak of the age of their navigation characteristics. On the back of the competition, one card can easily lose another second. It's an abyss in the picture. So the choice of car was often decisive. Of course, SWS is amateur competition. However, this does not in any way reduce the level of competition. To fight our pictures was with the best "classmates" from all over the world. The rules were two competitive days. Four free, but time-tested training plus qualifications and Race1 on Friday; and two races-Race2 and Race3 on Saturday. The final protocol was based on the sum of the points scored during 3 races. It would seem that the scheme is sufficiently transparent. If it wasn't for "but" ... We have already noted the Amateur status of the Soda World Series. In this sense, the security weight is required on the cards. Of course, its presence does not oblige the pictures to carry out the contact struggle on the track. However, it should be noted that without contacts even sports competitions in the karting are not bypassed, so mutual touching is inevitable, say, the component of the race. This is what happened in France. At the start or at the time of struggle for the position, the participants touched each other. Blago, the abundance allows to minimize the consequences of the contact. But the Russian pilots suddenly came up with no sports pitfalls; they were particularly relevant when it came to fighting French team pilots, who for obvious reasons prevailed on the track. There was a Russian citizen who would take the Frenchman at the entrance to the turn, as he was immediately given a penalization, and in full. But in the opposite case, when the French man attacked our pilot with the winning of the position, the referee did not have any questions for some reason ... It's not even like this: it was, but for some reason, again to the Russian! It's not easy to fight for a decent result. Yet the Russian team did not fail. With very good times in qualification (at the level of the first of 64 of the 64 participants in each set!), our battle was fought in even races, contrary to the circumstances. The outcome of the race for Russians would be called a very good one. The best of ours was Vitaly Polozov (12th place). Yevgeny Yermilov (24) and Maxim Alyulin (27) were in the final report. Kirill Varyukhin (36) and Zhanna Polozov (42) were behind them. Alas, there is no race between Grigory Karasev-only the 60th result. Who is responsible? And what do I do? Of course, the question posed by the pictures after the race-"can the French be able to win at all from the French under such conditions?" It is clear and bitterness from the unfair and, frankly, biased attitude. However, we think there are only two options here: either not to go to hostile land at all, or by having the skill, the will and the desire, to prove their speed, who is who on the SWS world level. In any case, we sincerely wish the Russian pilots to win the next year's GF!
