Mark Webber: I could go faster

On the third day of the test mark Webber drove 108 laps behind the wheel of the RB9. The Aussie showed only the ninth time of the day, losing the best time longer than a second, however, was satisfied with the work performed.
Mark Webber: "Today we traveled a greater distance, learned a lot, so it was a positive day. There were a few small problems, but overall the car is OK, we once again gathered a huge amount of data for the engineers working on the base. Tomorrow we would like to drive as many laps in dry conditions, but on Friday a chance of rain.
The tests are all trying to compare the results, but honestly, I have no idea what the balance of power. There are some fast cars, but at the winter tests very difficult to determine who is better and who is worse. Especially when the tires wear out so quickly - you lose four or five seconds during one series, so to understand who is in what form, is quite difficult. All we can do is continue to move forward and focus on preparing for the first race.
I could go faster if there was another attempt, but something happened, what happened, and equal conditions for all. We tried several new things on these tests, prepare some more for next week, then to Melbourne. This Is Formula 1.
Andy Damerham, coordinator racing engineers: "After some of the challenges we faced yesterday, today was good. The car was quite reliable, and we have completed the planned program. In the morning we focused on tests of aerodynamic elements, and the second half of the day spent several long series to get as much information as possible about the tires.
In cool weather it's not easy, but such information may be useful. During the season we are not often faced with similar temperature, but this may in Nurburg, Silverstone or Spa. As for tomorrow, the weather forecast doesn't look too great, so let's see what awaits us in the morning and there will be a focus on the situation".
