Russia became the second largest avtorynkom in Europe based on 2012 year

In 2012, the world has sold more than 69 million cars. Of them on America accounts for 31.2%( 21.7 million ), Europe of 23.2% (16, 3 million ,4% of them - Russia), Asia 34,6%( 24.1 million ), and other markets 11%( 7.7 million ), according to PwC.
Russia's contribution to the growth of sales of new cars in the world in 2009-2012 amounted to 9%. According to the results of 2012, Russia became the second largest car market in Europe, behind only Germany. For global alliances, the Russian market is becoming onethe key. So, in 2012, Russia provided 11% of the world sales Renault-Nissan and 5% of global sales KIA-Hyundai.

After several years of strong sales volatility on the market, some signs of stabilization. The market has embarked on a path of sustained moderate growth. In 2012, sales of new passenger cars increased by 10% in volume and 21% in monetary terms compared with the previous year. Foreign cars in Russia showed the best growth among the other categories of passenger cars and increased its market share to 44%.
According to PwC forecasts the situation on the Russian market in 2013 will be as follows: positive and negative factors to some extent balanced each other which is the basis for moderate growth as is the satisfaction of consumer demand.
