Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has announced two programs reviews of ATVs.

Both programs respond to the AIDS model Can-Am Commander. According to the first program review, the problem is in incorrect Assembly of the steering column, may result in loss of control of the machine. The company became aware of three such cases of loss of control, none of them caused the injuries or incidents.

This recall affected about 3 400 cars, including models 2011-2012 Can-Am Commander 800 and 1000 models 2011-2012 Can-Am Commander XT 800R and 1000, model 2011-2012 Can-Am Commander X 1000 and model of the 2012 Can-Am Commander Limited 1000.

Affected by the program review units were sold in the United States in the period from April 2011 to December 2012 for the price of 11 700 to USD 21,000.

The second program review linked to identified problem related to the fact that under certain conditions the grass and leaves can be collected in the exhaust zone of the machine, and the hot exhaust pipe will cause the risk of fire this garbage.

This program revocation affected as much as 25 000 units of equipment, including models 2011-13 Can-Am Commander 800 and 1000, 2011-12 Can-Am Commander XT 800R and 1000, 2011-12 Can-Am Commander X 1000, 2012-13 Can-Am Commander Limited 1000 and 2013 Can-Am Commander DPS 800R and 1000.

In BRP received 18 reports of such cases of fire, including one case that came to the owner of the device burn hands.

Affected by the program review cars were sold by dealers Can-Am in the USA in the period from April 2010 to November 2012 at a price of 11 700 to USD 21,000.
