The 1. 4-litre TFSI engine focuses on efficiency and is claimed to average 47. 9mpg. It costs 23,870 in SE trim. S Line Plus specification cars command a premium of 2350 over S line trim and add leather and Alcantara trim, cruise control and sat-nav.
Jaguar Land Rover is seeking 150 new recruits for its 2014 engineering apprentice scheme. Applicants have until 31 January to apply; they will join the 500-strong group who are being placed at five UK sites. Two schemes are offered, a four-year one for GCSE students or a six-year one for A-Level entrants.
Four new MG Motor dealerships will open soon, in Doncaster, Northampton, Norwich and Swindon. The dealerships are already able to take customer orders for the MG 6 and MG 3. In the past six months five other MG dealerships have been opened and the network will grow considerably during 2014, according to MG.
